“ Greeted when we walked in and seated immediately. Server came up with the specials board. There were some great specials - the usual which I got with the biscuit gravy and hash browns with two eggs for $10. There was a seasonal pumpkin waffle and pancakes!!! And a grilled cheese and minestrone lunch for $9.75. Love all the history and old time photos and newspaper stories about the area. I've never dined at this location but it was clean and easy to park. Our server was fast and friendly. Thank you. We will be back. ”
“ This place was really cute, and very very cozy. The bathroom was warm it had a heater in there. lol But anyways it was so delicious ! I had a patty melt it tasted very local I would say. I would come back for sure ”
“ Giant portions! We got our food to-go and I would do it again. Sometimes this spot is really crowded and we're happy to get the food to-go and then eat it back at our accommodations. For the 2 of us, we shared a chicken fried steak order and it was big and plentiful for the two of us. The hash is v yummy and was not as greasy as we were expecting so that was a pleasant surprise. I think we would stop by this place again during my next trip in Tahoe! ”

We visited twice during our vacation and the server not only remembered us, but she remembered every detail of our previous order down to the little requests like, "no butter on the waffles," or "extra crispy hash browns." The staff were so friendly and fast. Try the jalapeño bacon, it's super flavorful!! ”
“ How good was this place? I think we found a hair and it didn't matter. Great waffles. Not fluffy at all, but somehow still delicious. The bacon was just right amount of crispy. The eggs, both scrambled and over medium were perfectly done. This place just felt like real people making real food with real ingredients--like the best kind of homemade. ”
